I see that there is DropBox support now - that's great. What I'd like to see is multi-driver support using DropBox or other file sync utility to synchronize the stats. My family has 3 cars and 6 drivers (4 students) and it would be nice to keep everything, especially when I may not drive a car for a month or so.

I don't trust anyone, so I'd like to sync (or automatically backup) to my own server using some standard protocol. I don't care which, FTP, SMB, WebDAV would all be fine.

Short update on this feature. The next release will include a backup/restore with Dropbox. And hopefully the release after will include the synch feature. Always with Dropbox as a start :-)

A must have is to share data entered from more than one device. This would allow my wife and I to enter data on whichever car we are driving and have it sync across multiple devices.

The ability to export data our own data (a.k.a. Feature Zero) to Google Docs and different locations is great and one of the main reasons I use your app as opposed to other similar apps. Please add an auto-sync ability to your to-do list, having it automatically sync would be ideal!

Cloud sync, is the bets. Than a way to export values is a must to have. Nice to have will be the full reporting availabla just like the app.

Centralized data is very good. However it also must work off-line.

A very useful feature to me would be if you could share data entered from more than one device. This would allow my wife and I to enter data on whichever car we are driving on our respective Droids and later update each others Droid. Overall looks like great app.

your data would be more safe. Once i had lost my data, because my pda had been stolen. But, it would be simpler if you can choose a folder to your backup. You can use dropbox or something else to synchronize data with cloud.

Actually I will provide a backup, and later a synch. Backup is quite important because only a backup on SD card is not enough. If you loose your phone you loose all your data.
Google is offering an online backup service, but it's not available on all operators. At least was like that 1 year ago.To bo honest the main trick for me around this topic is the permissions I will need to ask for. I will need to get a permission for:
- reading the account names (hence your google account)
- ability to authentify using a given account to for instance google docsThat's the safest way, but obviously I expect some users to be afraid of. It's safer than asking the user to put his account name and password.
Alternatively I could also see with DropBox how I could do it. They provide an API for it.
I really look forward to implement this important feature

But how often you will use it, actually...?

May be not a sync actually, but a backup to GoogleDocs...?
