From what I encountered, when a notification alarm appears, there are 2 buttons that will show: that is "Ok" and "Snooze". If you choose snooze, you will be notified again based on what was set. When you press OK, I was thinking that it will just stop the notification. But what happened is that, it assumed that the task is already completed and it adjusted the next notification date based on frequency time set.

So I was thinking of having a "Mark as Complete" button to do what the "OK" button is currently doing. Then change the "OK" button to simply stop the notification.

When you change the car value to another one, the service type value will be changed automatically to the first entry that you have in that category. However, this is only shown in that window. When you save it, the value will still be the one that you selected. It is only confusing during edit.

    Ex:
Type is "Service" and Category is "Category C"
    Car is "All Cars"

When you change "All Cars" to, let's say "Car 2", "Category C" will be changed to "Category A", which is the first category in the listing.

When you save, however, the category is still "Category C".

I don't know if I explained it clearly. So, just let me know if you need further clarifications.
